What will happen at my party?

The format of your party should be as follows:
  • Allow around 1/2 to 1 hour in advance for the activity to be set up.
  • The painting section of the party will begin as soon as all the guests have arrived and will take anywhere between 3/4 hour to 2 hours depending on your chosen party package.
  • Your guests will be given lots of guidance and inspiration, helping them to create their masterpiece.
Everything will be cleared and taken away, leaving you to complete your party as you wish, usually with your own party buffet.

SETTING UP THE PARTY ROOM

Children will be provided with:
A paper placemat
A selection of brushes, shaped sponges and a palette.
At least 20 colours to choose from.

The party shown was for 16 children and was held at Whitstable Castle, The Adams Room, Tankerton.

It is recommended that for smaller children, you request that parents also attend the party, on a ratio of 1 adult to 4 children.
What else do the packages include?

Each party package includes:
  • Each painted item individually gift wrapped.
  • A special keepsake for the guest of honour decorated by the party guests.

Choose a plate or mug which can either be signed or we can use thumbprints for smaller children.

All the finished pieces will be returned to the host within a week.

What about a venue?
The choice of venue is yours, and as long as you have the space, you can hold your party at home.  All we need you to provide are tables, chairs and a water supply.  Church halls are ideal. We can bring a few spare highchairs if you need them. 

Are there other costs involved?
There are no additional costs involved within the following areas:
Faversham, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Canterbury.
Outside these areas there may be an additional charge to cover time and travel, depending on the size of the party.  This includes Thanet, Sandwich, Deal, Ashford and Sittingbourne.

Is there a minimum number of children for a party?

Around 8 children is our usual minimum number, however other factors are involved such as time and travel to the venue and cost of chosen party.  Speak to us to discuss details

For parties of 7 or less, you may be advised to order a Paint-at-Home kit instead.
